Practice Summary:
For most of his practice, Bill was a partner with Binks, Chilcott & Simpson and developed an expertise in all phases of litigation. Bill now practices almost exclusively in the field of Civil Litigation, including Personal Injury, Professional Negligence, Commercial, Employment and Real Estate Litigation.
Awarded his Q.C. in 1980, Bill was honoured in 1994 when he received the prestigious Law Society Medal (LSM) for his significant contribution to the profession including: volunteer instructor - Bar Admission Course; organizer / participant - numerous Continuing Legal Education programs; positions held with organizations such as the County of Carleton Law Association, the Medical-Legal Society of Ottawa-Carleton (founding president), the Advocates' Society of Ontario, and past president of the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario).
He is a founding father and Co-Chair of the Civil Litigation Updated Conference. He is currently a Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
