Kerri graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours Human Kinetics) in 2000 and received her law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2004. She was called to the Ontario Bar in July 2005 after having completed her articles at Burke-Robertson in Ottawa, Ontario.

Prior to joining Tierney Stauffer LLP in October, 2007, as an Associate in our Family Law Department, Kerri practiced law in North Bay, Ontario where her practice areas included, family law, civil litigation, employment law, administrative law and wills and estates. During her time in North Bay, Kerri chaired the Board of Directors of the North Bay and District Humane Society and was the secretary of the Nipissing Law Association.

Kerri has represented clients before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Municipal Board, the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal and the License Appeal Tribunal for Ontario.

Kerri is currently a member of the County of Carleton Law Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
