Our Approach

We believe that everyone who works at Tierney Stauffer is approachable and has the best interests of the client at heart. Our clients have come to rely upon both the legal professionals and the support staff for help with their questions.

Your lawyer will normally work on a file with the assistance of support staff and, possibly, an articling student. Nevertheless, some legal problems require the expertise of more than one lawyer. The members of our firm have an excellent relationship and we call upon each other for formal or informal advice to assist a client.

Our Strength

We are able to provide legal services with regard to all major areas of law. We are the largest firm in the west end of Ottawa. However, we are still small enough to give personal attention to our clients. We are fortunate in having a number of senior counsel to provide leadership and guidance on any file.

Our litigation members have appeared in Courts and before administrative tribunals throughout Ontario, including the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Our solicitors are experienced in acting on multi-million dollar, commercial transactions but bring the same level of competence and attention to our clients' personal, residential transactions.
