Susan Mitchell

     Susan Mitchell obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from McMaster University in 1995. She graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2001 and then came to Ottawa to complete her articles with Tierney Stauffer LLP. She was called to the Bar in 2002. Susan continues to practice with Tierney Stauffer LLP in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, with an interest in personal injury, insurance law, medical malpractice, and employment law.

     Susan is an active member of the County of Carleton Law Association. She is a member of the New Lawyers and Articling Students Continuing Legal Education Committee and recently co-chaired and spoke at the CLE program for new lawyers and articling students regarding managing client expectations and the Annual Solicitors Conference at Chateau Montebello.

     Susan is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
