Doug completed his articles in Toronto and joined our firm as an associate lawyer after being called to the Bar of Ontario in 1993.

Doug has been a partner of the firm since 2001. He is primarily responsible for matters involving real estate, both commercial and residential, the purchase and sale of businesses (asset and share purchases), incorporations, mortgages, wills and estates administration.

Doug has lectured on the topic of real estate and wills and estates to various community groups.

An avid traveller, Doug has participated in charitable projects in Nicaragua and Peru. In his free time Doug participates in competitive basketball and long distance running.

Doug is a member of the organizing committee of the annual charity golf tournament sponsored and organized by our firm for the benefit of St. Patrick´s Home of Ottawa. He has been also actively involved in the Canadian Cancer Society´s annual "Relay for Life" as both a member of the sponsorship committee and participant since 2000. He has also been an organizer and participant since 2003 in the annual CS CO-OP "Do-It-For-Dad" Run and Family Walk 10K running event which raises money for prostate cancer research each Father´s Day.
